As long as the condition is not affected by our exclusions, then we would look to cover treatment for hip dysplasia.
The main exclusion we have is that we don't cover pre-existing conditions - which we define as any injuries, illnesses, or behavioural disorders for which your pet had signs or symptoms, treatment, medication, or advice in the last 24 monthsbefore the policy start date. Most of the claims we can't cover are for conditions that were either pre-existing or occurred during the waiting period.
We also won’t cover any accidents in the first 24 hours of your policy and any conditions which first have signs or symptoms in the first 10 days of your policy as this is your waiting period.
