We’re sorry if this seems confusing, when you see the same policy online for less, there are a few things that are taken into account:
Promotions: Some offers may be temporary or promotional. (if applicable)
Claims History: A new policy will not account for any conditions and claims during your policy year.
Terms & Conditions: New business terms can differ significantly from renewal terms.
Unfortunately, we can't price match your renewal price because it’s the best offer we can give for lifetime cover. But if you’d like, you can choose a new policy but keep in mind that new customer terms differ from renewal terms. For example, new policies will have a waiting period and won’t cover pre-existing conditions.
Your current policy provides lifetime cover for any conditions your pet has developed since you joined. By renewing, you ensure continuous cover for any treatments, medications, or advice your pet has received.
If you do decide to go with a new policy with us, we're happy to waive the waiting period as long as you set the start date to the day your current policy ends. Please contact us if you refer this route.
You might also want to check out your downgrade options on your Napo dashboard here. This would still give your pet continued cover.
