Here at Napo, we classify cat breeds the following way:
Pedigree: Your cat is one breed, e.g. pedigree Persian.
Moggie: If your cat is a mix of two or more breeds, e.g. Persian and Siamese.
If you aren't sure which description fits your cat, the best thing to do is check what your vets notes and their original vaccination cards state and go by that as we will check these notes if you were to submit a claim in the future and the details will need to match.
If your cat isn't an excluded animal and is a new/rare breed that isn't on our list, please contact us via chat or email. We'll work to get the breed added to either our excluded or covered breeds list in the future.
