Can you price-match my new quote with Napo?

Unfortunately, we can’t price match as your renewal quote is the best we're able to offer.

The reason you might see a more affordable option for brand new policies, is because a brand new policy comes with new terms and conditions, as well as new exclusions.

By renewing your policy, your pet is covered under their lifetime policy for any accidents that first took place after the first 24 hours of the initial policy. Your pet is also covered for any other conditions first showed signs or symptoms, or your pet had any treatment, medication or advice for after the first 10 days of the initial policy. If you renew, this cover continues.

If you purchase a brand new policy, this will restart the exclusions as we don't cover for anything that showed signs or symptoms or pets had treatment, medication or advice within the past 24 months prior to the policy start date and within the waiting period.

If your pet has been healthy and no vets were needed, this is great. However, it is important to note that a condition doesn’t need to be diagnosed or claimed for to be considered pre-existing. Even if your pet showed signs or symptoms of a condition, we would consider this as pre-existing.

To move forward with a brand new policy, you must start the new policy on the same day your current policy ends for us to be able to waive the waiting period. Once this is done you then must contact us so we can waive the waiting period for you, otherwise it will still apply.
