Absolutely! Your vet fees cover includes all diagnostic tests - as long as they’re not affected by our exclusions.

Our main exclusion is that we don't cover pre-existing conditions - which we define as any injuries, illnesses, or behavioural disorders for which your pet had signs or

symptoms, treatment, medication, or advice in the last 24 months before the policy start date. Most of the claims we can't cover are for conditions that were either pre-existing or occurred during the waiting period.

There are no inner limits for MRIs, scans or other diagnostic tests - meaning that you're covered up to your policy limit for these costs. The limit applicable to your policy will depend on the cover you chose: we have the following cover limits: £4,000, £8,000, £12,000 and £16,000.

Please note that some treatments including dental and behavioural treatments do have their inner limits (and diagnostic tests for these conditions would be capped under those limits rather than the vet fees cover limits above) - details of these limits can be found in our Terms & Conditions here (on page 3).
