If you’re switching from another insurer (at renewal or after a free introductory period) we’re able to waive your waiting period.
To do this, you’ll need to ensure that your pet has been continuously insured up to your start date with Napo without any gaps.
For example, if your renewal date or free introductory period end date with your previous insurer is the 1st January 2024 then you need to make sure your start date with Napo is insurer is 2nd of January 2024 so you have continuous cover.
We won’t ask for proof of this when you first join, however when you claim with us we will ask you to provide documentation of your previous insurance that includes your cancellation date.
