We’re proud to offer healthcare cover to all breeds of pet dogs and cats!
Here's what to do:
Firstly, let's make sure that your lovely pet is not on our excluded animals list. You can find it here.
If your pet has a certificate of exemption from the government (including if your pet has been typed as an XL Bully) get a quote as the pedigree breed listed on their exemption certificate, even if this information doesn’t match the breed your vets have.
If your pet is a crossbreed, please check if their specific crossbreed is available on our list of breeds. For example, we have Labradoodle, Maltipoo, Cavachon, Springador listed on our breed list. If your pet is one of these or a similar cross breed then select ‘Pedigree’ and then the appropriate breed.
If your pet’s crossbreed isn’t listed on with us, please select the breed that is listed first on your vets’ records (e.g. if the records say “Chihuahua cross Maltese”, Select “Cross” → “Chihuahua”)
If your pet is a mongrel / mixed breed: If your pet is a mix of more than 2 breeds and it says this on your vet’s notes then please select this option.
If your pet isn't on our list of excluded animals list here and it is a new/rare breed that isn't on our list, please message us. We'll work to get the breed added to our list or let you know which breed you can choose in the meantime.
