If you’re switching from another insurer, we’re able to waive your waiting period.

To do this, you’ll need to ensure that your pet has been continuously insured up to your start date with Napo without any gaps.

For example, if your start date with Napo is the 1st January 2024 then you need to make sure your end date with your previous insurer is 31st December 2023 so you have continuous cover.

We won’t ask for proof of this when you first join, however when you claim with us we will ask you to provide documentation of your previous insurance that includes your cancellation date.
