Claims: New policies may not account for any past claims/conditions, if you have any.
Terms & Conditions: New policies often have different terms compared to renewals.

As a new customer you are likely to face new terms, including possible exclusions for pre-existing conditions and waiting periods. In contrast, your current policy provides continuous cover from the inception date of your policy if you choose to renew.
This ensures ongoing protection for any issues your pet has shown signs or symptoms of, received treatment, medication or advice for since the policy's inception.
We cannot guarantee claims will be approved in advance as each claim is unique and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Options to Reduce Your Renewal Cost:
While this decision might be difficult, you may be able to adjust your cover limit to help manage costs.
You can explore your options through your renewal email to check your updated policy and all information that you need to make an informed decision, your Napo dashboard where you can view prices for the other cover levels and manage your renewal. You can also opt-out of renewal here too up until the day before your renewal date.
It’s important to note:
Lowering your cover limit won’t affect ongoing protection for approved conditions.
If you choose to downgrade on or after your renewal date, you might need to make a payment at the higher cost to ensure your pet is covered.
You can always upgrade your cover at your next renewal. For more details, please refer to the terms outlined on page 28.
