When does my cover start?

All about Napo's waiting / exclusion period

It’s typical of insurance policies to have a short amount of time at the beginning where you can’t make a claim. Here’s how it works with Napo:

  • You can’t claim for any accidents that occur within the first 1 day (24 hours) of your policy start date

  • You can’t claim for anything else that occurs within the first 10 days of your policy start date

You can also change your cover start date in your dashboard, before your cooling off period ends. Read more about how to change your cover start date here :)
